25-year-old Alexandra Grace Heavner of Amity Circle in Belmont has been served with a bill of indictment for felony larceny. She was also charged with failure to appear on a misdemeanor larceny charge and she was charged with habitual larceny. She was arrested by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers today (September 1). Heavner was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond on the felony charges and a $5,000 bond on the misdemeanor larceny charge. Appearances in District Court were scheduled for September 5 & 6 in Newton. A Superior Court date was also set for September 6.
