Authorities Seeking Missing Man From Mooresville, Silver Alert Issued
The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing man from Mooresville. Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for 77-year-old Douglas Leonard Slater, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s.
He is described as a thin and frail white male, 5’7″, 105 pounds, with short white hair and blue eyes. Mr. Slater was last seen wearing a blue long sleeve pull over, a white undershirt, blue pajama pants with print, and brown slippers. He walked away from his residence at 113 Delaney Lane in Mooresville sometime between 10 p.m. Tuesday (February 14) and 3:30 a.m. today (February 15). His direction of travel was unknown.
