Assault Suspect Sought By U.S. Marshals, Granite Falls Police
A suspect is being sought by authorities. On Thursday (October 5), the United States Marshals Service attempted to locate a wanted man at a residence on Lakeside Avenue in Granite Falls. They were attempting to find 34-year-old Jonathan Pearson of Burke County. Pearson is wanted for parole violation and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
When Marshals arrived at the residence, Pearson fled on foot into a wooded area behind the residence. Granite Falls Police assisted in the search for Pearson, who had not been found as of earlier today (October 6). If you see Pearson, call 911. Do not approach this suspect, who is considered to be armed and dangerous. Pearson is 6’2”, 175 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and white shorts or pants.
