According to BCSO District 1 Captain Dustan Auldredge: “Many of the items taken from Mr. Marcis were personal and irreplaceable. We are grateful for the work our Criminal Investigations Division, our Patrol Deputies, and our colleagues at the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office put into this case. Their dedication led to the recovery of most of his property and the arrests made in this case.”
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office said “This investigation is a great example of the importance of law enforcement agencies working together across county lines. Through communication, cooperation, and the sharing of investigative resources, investigators from both agencies were able to work collaboratively to develop leads, locate property connected to the investigation, and help bring the case to a positive outcome. This collaborative effort demonstrates what can be accomplished when law enforcement agencies work together toward a common goal of accountability and justice.”
