App’s Brice Named to Unitas Award Watch List

App State quarterback Chase Brice has been named to the watch list for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.

Last season, Brice set App State’s single-season record for passing yards with a league-leading 3,337 to go along with season totals of 27 touchdown passes and a 62.1 completion percentage.

The namesake of the Golden Arm Award has a storied history, as Johnny Unitas was an 18-year veteran of the NFL who played his collegiate career at the University of Louisville before joining the Baltimore Colts in 1958.
