App State Women’s Golf head coach Heather Brown has announced the addition of five newcomers for the 2022-23 season.
The Mountaineers are welcoming three college newcomers in Ekaterina Prokhorova (Moscow, Russian Federation), Andrea Diaz (Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico) and Sara Adams (Whispering Pines, N.C.) and two college transfers in Shani Brynard (Charleston Southern University, via Stellensboch, South Africa) and Braelyn Pippin (Tusculum University, via Waxhaw, N.C.).
The five new Mountaineers will join a roster that includes returners Megan Mitchell, Hannah Wang, Layla Meric and Jacquelyn Taylor.
Moscow, Russian Federation
BIO: Has possessed a World Amateur Golf Ranking inside the top 1,000 during her youth career … Placed second at the Russian Junior Championship U18 event in 2021 … In February 2022, placed third at the Golf Mad Junior Open thanks to a final-round 68 … Recently, in July, highlighted by a 1-under final round, finished as medalist on the National Russian Junior Tour stage in St. Petersburg, Russia … Has been a member of the Russian Federation’s national team.
