Appalachian State Hickory Starts First School Year

Appalachian State’s newest location in Hickory welcomed students for classes for the first time Monday (August 21). Orientation sessions took place earlier this month. The campus will offer more than 100 undergraduate majors during the fall 2023 semester.

According to the Appalachian State Hickory website, on-site services at the campus will provide resources and support, including advisors dedicated to App State Hickory students, a library facility, health and counseling services, tutoring, success coaching, career development services, technical support, computer labs and more.

Student clubs and organizations, recreation opportunities and leadership experiences will also be available on the Hickory campus. You can get more information by going to appstate.edu/hickory.
