Appalachian State Cross Country Announces 2023 Schedule

App State announced the 2023 cross country schedule on Monday. This season, the Black and Gold will host two home meets and will set out for three road meets in addition to postseason competition.

The Mountaineers will kick off the season in Boone with the Firetower Project Run on Sept. 1, followed by the Covered Bridge Open on Sept. 15. The Black and Gold will then head to Louisville, Ky. for the Live In Lou Classic on Sept. 30.

On Oct. 14, App State will get a preview of the NCAA Southeast Regional course as they compete at the USC-Upstate Invitational in Spartanburg, S.C. The Mountaineers will then head to Foley, Ala. for the Sun Belt Championships on Oct. 28.

App State will make an appearance at the Johnson & Wales Open in Charlotte, N.C. on Nov. 3.

The NCAA Southeast Regional is slated for Nov. 10 and will be hosted by USC-Upstate in Spartanburg, S.C. The NCAA Championships will be held in Charlottesville, Va. on Nov. 18.
