App State Baseball’s road game against Charlotte scheduled for Tuesday, March 23, will now be held instead at Atrium Health Ballpark, the new minor league home of the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers in downtown Kannapolis.
First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. that night. It will be the first official game in Atrium Health Ballpark, a $52 million stadium that opened last May, in the same year that no minor league baseball was played.
Stadium capacity will be limited due to applicable government orders, Charlotte announced Wednesday. Charlotte baseball supporters, season-ticket holders and students will have the first opportunity to purchase available tickets for the March 23 game.
On Tuesday, March 16, if any tickets remain available, they would go on sale to the general public at a cost a $10 per ticket and be sold through the Cannon Ballers’ website. For the most up-to-date info on ticket availability, visit the Cannon Ballers’ Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
