45-year old Marty Joe Bryan of Hiddenite was arrested by authorities in Alexander County. He’s charged with felony counts of first-degree burglary and possession of methamphetamine along with misdemeanor counts of domestic criminal trespass and resisting, delay, and obstruct a public officer. Bryan was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center Tuesday (October 24) and he remained there as of earlier today (October 27) under $57,500 secured bond.

According to the North Carolina Judicial Branch website, Bryan faces several charges overall including felony flee to elude arrest and numerous traffic counts. A Superior Court date is set for November 27, a District Court date is scheduled December 4.
