TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. (WHKY) – Authorities in Alexander County have arrested a 46-year-old Taylorsville man on multiple drug charges. Thomas Jackson Branson, Jr. was arrested during the early morning hours Friday (September 25th).

Branson is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute, along with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and maintaining a vehicle for controlled substance use.

Branson was jailed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a $30,000 bond.
