A Hiddenite man is charged with drug trafficking. On Tuesday (May 26), the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Joseph Branson Williams of Princess Lane, in Hiddenite. The charges filed include felony trafficking methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Authorities report the seizure of more than 30 grams of meth. Williams was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under $100,000 secured bond.
