42-year-old Miguel Velazquez-Uribe of Birmingham, Alabama was arrested Saturday (May 23) by Hickory Police Officers. He’s charged with second-degree forcible sex offense, attempted second-degree forcible rape, and assault on a female. Velazquez-Uribe was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under no bond. A Tuesday (May 26) District Court date was scheduled.
