Additional Details Released In Case Involving Arrest Of Maiden Man On Sexual Exploitation Charges

36-year-old Andrew Logan Moose of Foxwood Drive in Maiden was arrested Monday (February 13) by Maiden Police Officers. He’s charged with eight felony counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. WHKY previously reported on the arrest Tuesday (February 14), more details have been released.

These charges are a result of an investigation initiated by Maiden Police after receiving information from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force regarding Internet transfers of Child Pornography. Maiden Police officers were able to positively identify Moose as the suspect and served a search warrant on his residence.

The arrest was made with assistance from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Following the arrest, Moose was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $110,000 bond. He remained in jail as of earlier today (February 15). His next District Court date is set for March 7.
