33-year-old Jerry Lee Price of Burke County was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center on a charge filed by Catawba County authorities. He was previously arrested by authorities in Alexander County and charged with felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle and driving while license revoked. WHKY reported on that arrest last month.

Price has additionally been charged with a count of felony obtaining property by false pretense by authorities in Catawba County. That charge was filed on May 9 and bond for Price was set at $2,000 secured. He remained in jail as of earlier today. A District Court appearance is scheduled in Catawba County for May 15. His next Alexander County District Court date is June 12.
