2023 Superintendent’s Annual Christmas Card Contest Winners

Catawba County Public Schools Announced the 2023 Annual Christmas Card Contest Winners. The contest is open to all of Catawba County elementary, middle, and high school students, and gets hundreds of submissions each year. Winners’ cards are sent to the county officials as the district’s official Christmas cards, and they undoubtedly bring cheer everywhere.

Superintendent Dr. Stover said, “Picking the Christmas cards each year is one of the hardest things to do but is also one of my favorite parts of the job. Our students’ ability to create and our teachers’ ability to guide their creativity is amazing! I love seeing the Christmas cards from other districts, and I love to send our cards to others to show off our students and staff!”

Congratulations to the 2023 contest winners:
Sixth Grader Oscar M. from Mountain View Elementary school for the Christmas card “Santa’s Sleigh”. Art Teacher Mr. McCracken
Eighth Grader Nevaeh G. from Maiden Middle School for the Christmas card “Warm Wishes”. Art Teacher Mrs. Banary
Eleventh Grader Mallorie C. from Bunker Hill High School for the Christmas card “Merry Christmas Cow”. Art Teacher Mrs. Ellis
