Woman Arrested On Felony Charges, Two Others Charged With Harboring Her

44-year-old April Sharpe Robinette of Taylorsville was arrested last Wednesday (October 20) by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers. She’s charged with two counts of felony probation violation out of county. In addition, 50-year-old Bobby Ray Duncan of Stony Point and 34-year-old Alicia Renee Dickerson of Taylorsville were both charged with misdemeanor harboring a fugitive.

Duncan and Dickerson were each charged with harboring Robinette. According to the North Carolina Judicial Branch website, Duncan is additionally charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and traffic offenses. Dickerson also faces multiple traffic charges.

Robinette was incarcerated in the Alexander County Detention Center under $10,000 secured bond. She’s scheduled to appear in Superior Court November 29. Duncan and Dickerson each received $2,500 secured bond. They are not listed as inmates in Alexander County. Duncan was scheduled to appear in District Court today (October 25), November 1, and November 22. Dickerson is scheduled to appear in District Court November 22.
