25-year-old Jaclyn Monica Stout of 25th Street S.W. in Hickory was arrested by Hickory Police at about eight o’clock last night (August 13) on one felony count of breaking & entering a motor vehicle and one misdemeanor count of larceny.
Stout is accused of breaking into a vehicle owned by a 25-year-old Hickory woman. Stout told Police the victim was her ex-girlfriend. She said she saw the vehicle in the parking lot at the Target store in Hickory and entered the vehicle, which she said was unlocked, to reclaim some shoes that belonged to her. The victim said $60 in cash was also missing from the vehicle.
Stout was processed at H.P.D. and then released after posting a $4,800 secured bond. She will appear in District Court tomorrow in Newton.
