20-year-old Terra Joanna Preslar of Willis Road in Taylorsville was arrested by Hickory Police at about 4:20 Saturday afternoon (June 21) on one felony count of larceny by servant or other employee.
She was arrested after a Loss Prevention Officer at the Belk store in Hickory’s Valley Hills Mall called Police to report that an employee had stolen multiple items. The employee, Terra Preslar, allegedly used a stolen gift card to purchase clothing items.
At the time of her arrest, one of the items, a swimsuit valued at $100, was recovered. Preslar reportedly admitted having taken other items on one previous occasion. She promised to return those items.
Preslar was processed at H.P.D. and then released on a $500 unsecured bond. She was scheduled to make a first appearance in District Court today (June 23) in Newton.
