The Pomona, CA native was selected by the Rangers in the 16th round of the 2013 MLB Draft out of New Mexico Junior College.

Deglan joins fellow 2014 Crawdads Nomar Mazara, Jose Monegro, Josh McElwee, Cody Kendall, Kevin Pucetas, Lewis Brinson, Nick Vickerson, Abel De Los Santos, and Kevin Torres as players who have moved up in the Rangers organization this season.
